FEATURING KIMBERLY

Most auditions never lead to being cast. Most Broadway shows never recoup their initial investment. Failure is a given and rejection is common. Making it big is simply a rarity. Most of us get by from job to job, making a living and enjoying the modicum of success that we hope will come our way. But within this reality comes great lessons and inspirations and some funny stories along the way. On the podcast, every reason of "why I'll never make it" is followed up by "why I'm still here" and what keeps us going. As Bill Gates said...It's fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure.

Conversations with Creative Women captures the fire and energy, humor, heart, soul and impact of the female creative experience. It’s been a long time coming, but women FINALLY comprise a large and important part of the creative landscape. They are powerful forces in theater, film, television - as performers, writers, directors - as musicians, composers, painters, sculptors, curators, fashion designers, as chef and restaurant owners, as businesswomen, scientists, educators, investors and on, and on, and on.

Whether you are new to theatre, are a veteran theatre goer, or are somewhere in between, we invite you to join us as we go behind the scenes and shine a spotlight on the work, the craft, and the transformative nature of theatre in our podcast. Through interviews with the people on the stage, the many more behind the stage, and even those in front of the stage (the audience), we aim to explore and celebrate the power of theatre as a vehicle for connection, joy, magic, and opening the door to what’s possible.
